Laut Shawl
The shawl Laut is knitted with a 100% plant dyed Icelandic wool yarn from Halldóra Óskarsdóttir and Thingborg Wool Centre. This single fingering weight yarn is incredibly light, airy, rustic but soft and therefore especially well-suited for shawls. The shawl is designed with the purpose that each knitter can put his or her individual spin on color, texture and size. The shawl is knitted in garter stitch and can be finished with a simple garter stitch edging, or a picot cast off. This is the perfect on the go, easy knitting project but still with interesting variations and flexibility in design. The shawl is knitted from the top down with a crescent shape and can be either big, medium or small depending on each knitter’s choice.

· Other yarn in fingering weight can also be used.

It is possible to knit the shawl with needle sizes ranging from # 3 – 7 mm / US 2.5 – 10.5
